“You have to pick her up from downstairs“, Ina told me, “she doesn’t know how to reach your studio“. So I went and, as she was getting out of the car, my heart skipped a bit: Brigitte Bardot was standing in front of me. Now, you have to understand, I LOVED Brigitte Bardot when I was little and to have someone as beautiful as her to photograph was amazing. I was watching BB’s movies when I was very little and my mom was allowing me to watch TV (I was on a strict regimen of “book reading and play outside” pretty much all my childhood and teenage years). So needless to say, I was a bit nervous. But it didn’t last long: not only does Ema have the most gorgeous blue eyes and matching golden locks but she also has a beautiful personality, calm and playful. So my jitters vanished away and especially after I’ve seen what an amazing job Ina did with the makeup (as always!)
